FATHER & MYSTIC

Africa is calling to me. Europe is calling to me. I am chomping at the bit to go but find myself rather stuck as I refuse the evil unconstitutional mandates of government. Compromise is not in my playbook. 1 Peter 3:11-12 tells us to eschew or shun evil, and do good; to seek peace, and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. Hope is the confident expectation, the certainty that what God has promised in His Word, is true and is always dynamic, active, directive and life sustaining. By hearing God and knowing that His word is inerrant and inevitable, we develop character. We know that Jesus guaranteed all that is requisite to everlasting life by His finished work through the Cross. Faith is the efficacy of the truth that is alone necessary to please God and assures the title deed to the kingdom. Ephesians 1:18 assures us that the eyes of our understanding will be enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Always rely on the word of God as it will never fail and will point you to righteousness. My hope is in Jesus Christ alone and I know evil can only temporarily delay His plans for nations. Furthermore, He is not going to share His inheritance with those that don’t know Him. Satan and his followers are overplaying their hand and are arrogant enough to not grasp the fact that we will win now, as well as in the end. I encourage you to stand strong within the constraints placed upon you and use your time wisely. There are unique opportunities to prepare and grow. Improve your pedigree, if tainted along the way. The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is continually calling to you. Decide to become and be a thoroughbred ready at anytime to go to the starting gate to run the race set before you.

What does this have to do with father and mystic? Because I am probably one of the strangest souls you have encountered – I am even that to my own self – you deserve to know who you are reading or listening to. I have had a personal catharsis during my government-imposed break from my apostolic metron of Africa and realize that my latter days are going to mostly be consumed in fathering leadership and as a mystic. At this time Holy Spirit is drawing me as such and I will unpack what this means. It doesn’t mean that I have lost Apostolic blueprints for Africa or severance of responsibility to the metron, rather Holy Spirit is unveiling a more perfect way to do that which I have been commissioned to fulfill. Though I am sure Dr Lindy and I will be going to nations as long as we are able to go, my evangel spirit will be more toward being a father to those who are running hard with the Gospel. Dr Lindy is equipped in this area as well, but she is the road grader and has a fiery Gospel message born in years of intercession. She has become the one sought over me as a preacher and I’m thrilled because she is extremely passionate about it. God is not static and never intends for us to be. Man was created by the uncreated Godhead for His purpose and that purpose is executed through you and me. We each are supposed to take our share and fulfill our individual purpose within the greater context of the body of Christ, as we prepare to rule and reign with the Savior as joint heirs of the nations.

I want to address mysticism in such a way that will change any misconceptions you may have. In fact, many people are mystics and don’t even realize that they are. Until I realized what mystics were and that I was one, my ignorance led me to believe mysticism was wrong and a mental condition drastically needing to regain soundness of mind. I viewed mystics, though seeking oneness with God, as recluses that could not function within society. I have read books by mystics from those that seemed very strange such as Charles de Foucauld, to accounts of the desert fathers, to the classics such as John of the Cross, Francis of Assisi, Theresa of Avila, and Thomas Merton to name a few. Though they would seem weird or a cult to most, they sought God in their own way and satisfied the longing of their soul for that experience in God. Who are we to judge as scripture can be found to back as well as refute their departure from societal norm?

So, what is a mystic and how can many of us be one and perhaps not even know. If you believe there are realities to life beyond what can be mentally comprehended, are living a Spirit filled relationship with God, and seeking to grow in that relationship, you fit the term of mystic. If you read your Bible and accept the truths therein, you must believe in the spirit realm and that this realm is more real than the ground you tread upon or the food you eat. The spirit realm is eternal – the physical is not. A mystic lives partly in this world, but partly in another or the eternal spirit realm. In other words, we are on a short sojourn in this world while preparing for eternity. Our flesh suit will pass away but the soul and spirit inhabiting it is eternal. Jesus said in John 17:14-17 in speaking with His Father: “They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” Our lives should be lived in the supernatural as we are children of the Most High God and it is our birthright in Jesus Christ.

Though I disagree with much of the leadership of Roman Catholicism, especially at the top (which is why I am not one), nevertheless the laity and many priests have a grasp of and respect for the mystical body of which Christ is the head. I can attest that when one explores the depth of the Incarnation, the Cross, or the Eucharist to mention a few of the mysteries of God, there is no depth until you contemplate and seek illumination through meditation with Holy Spirit. An awe and power comes upon one seeking the truth that otherwise is unobtainable. Ponder Psalm 91 and explain the secret place and the overshadowing of God – saints this place, which is available to you, allows you to experience the same mysteries that Mary received at the Incarnation. This is the mystical experience I am referring to and you will not go off the deep end if you let the word rule in all you do.

We know scripture says that all things are possible to him who believes (Mark 9:23). It is possible and His will and purpose that you live in the supernatural. You have the authority in Christ to go there and draw upon the Dunamis power of God to enter the power gifts and manifestations of the Spirit. Are you willing to make the requisite sacrifice? It will be costly, but I can assure you that it is worth it all and more. Jesus said in Mk 16:17-18: “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” If you operate in the realm of great faith, you should expect miracles, signs, and wonders to proceed you, present in your presence, and follow your departure.

Though some say mystic and mystery are unrelated, I would disagree. The roots are similar. I would suggest that the great mystery, “Christ in us the hope of glory,” to really understand will require one to go to the depths of the Spirit for understanding and a supernatural relationship to really ascertain what this means and unpack and utilize the power therein for His Glory. The core of mysticism is seeking the power of connection with the Master, face to face, and connecting with the depth of His presence, i.e., deep calls to deep. Though we cannot reach the intimacy of Father and Son, we can sacrifice worldliness and draw near to the creator and author of our faith.

In my growing mystical experience I can testify to a closer and empowering relationship with the Lord. Revelation and powerful visions increase daily. Self and the cares of this world dissipate in the growing relationship. I encourage you to seek the Lord without constraints, be they self or enemy imposed. In so doing you can exponentially grow in your most holy faith.

I have increasingly found myself in a fathering role. I believe this is destined purpose. Though I have done time on the field, I believe it is time now to give the baton to the next generation. When you consider the sheer size of Africa it becomes readily apparent that there is no way for us to personally reach what God has assigned us. The only way is to find sons and daughters to pour the love of God into, the wisdom that age and relationship brings, and mantle with the anointing given us. For God to consume me for His Glory to give to this troubled world is the most rewarding work I could possibly perform for the King of Kings. All else pales in comparison.

Consider that God is not going to do it all for us. We are created in His image and are to take dominion of the earth. If not so, would He have given us Kingdom Keys? Also, just as children need fathers to guide them so do we. I am not excluding mothers but using the terminology from which we model. God is referred to as Father and hence the semantics. Spiritual fathers are male and female. Both are crucial in His order and that order does not include the alphabet of labels given by human perversion in todays world. Spiritual or fathering leadership is requisite to kingdom culture leading to Ecclesia. My fathering leader, Dr Don Lynch has become an authority on the concept with proven and powerful results that I can attest to. This is critical to producing the kingdom that Father God desires. I would encourage you to read his books, which are the fruit of many years of proven results.

God has given me unique gifting in entering relationships and putting people together for His glory. This is beginning to happen more in my latter years and I am convinced that this is how I am supposed to accomplish my destined purpose in Him. It is not me, as I absolutely give Him all the glory. As unworthy as I feel or am, nonetheless I am a yielded vessel in which He has deposited gifts that encourage and build others. If you listen to and take to heart the truths of a father, you will avoid many of Satan’s attempts at your destruction. A pure father teaches, protects, builds, and truly desires that you far exceed whatever He has accomplished. Saints, that is the heart of a father and if you are open Holy Spirit will lead you to the one that is perfect for you.

As a father and minister of the Glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ I want all to know the joy and the power of His resurrection. If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, look up the Roman Road to Salvation or find someone who professes Jesus as Lord and Savior and take care of your eternity today. If backslidden, repent and receive His mercy. Ask Holy Spirit to lead you to the earthly spiritual father that He has planned for you. Seek a deeper mystical relationship through Holy Spirit. I am quite sure that you will not be disappointed. In Romans 11:33, the Apostle Paul tells us: “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and decisions and how unfathomable and untraceable are His ways!” No matter how much of your life has been stolen by Satan, God still calls out to you and wants to bless you now and in eternity. Find Him today and live!!!
