MIRACLES, SIGNS, & WONDERS

These are alive today and available to the believer, available to establish truth and the power of God. But Dr Guy, these are the works of Jesus and the Apostles He appointed. This is true but you would be missing the fact that Jesus said we would do greater works than He. But Dr Guy, Jesus said that a foolish and perverse generation looks for a sign. Yes, He said that, but we must remember that it was directed toward the scribes and Pharisees who weren’t convinced by all the miracles He had performed and needed more proof. Yes, Dr Guy, but if they still happen today, then why don’t we see more miracles, signs and wonders?  The answer is very simple – most don’t have the level of faith to believe. All is available to you, but are you willing to make the requisite sacrifice necessary to place an expectation on the anointing and receive what you are asking for. I am going to be brutally frank with you in saying that it will cost you everything. The anointing is not cheap and God will never lower His standards. So, the question becomes: “How sold out are you? – Are you willing to sacrifice all to become a Champion of the Kingdom? – Are you willing to give your life as broken bread and poured out wine so that others can share eternity with You?” When you become a trusted vessel for Holy Spirit to work through in the power gifts, souls are set free and belief is unquestioned. Just imagine how effective Kingdom ministry would become if there were more that would sacrifice to acquire the power gifts.

You might ask, is all the sacrifice worth it. I will emphatically say yes and encourage you to go deep into your relationship with the Lord. The real question becomes who or what controls your life? Let me speak from my personal walk with the Lord. I had no clue just six years ago that this could be a reality. I knew what the word says. I had seen and known some touched by the miraculous of God. I had read about the great Men of God and the great revivals and crusades. But, here I was doing practically nothing for God and getting a beating every time I made an effort to do the work of the ministry. I was so miserable and defeated that I finally said: “Lord, I am going to lay in all on the line and trust you. I don’t want to die without having fulfilled Your purpose through my life. I will never back down and whatever You want I am Yours.” My faith rose to new levels, preparation came quickly, doors opened, and God began fulfillment of my destiny beyond my wildest imagination. My covenant partner and I were placed in our God given metron and it became all Him and His Glory. Yes, we experience miracles, signs, and wonders in our metron of Africa, because as 2 Corinthians 4:7 says, that the power be of Him and not of us. We don’t covet these gifts as any kind of accolade, rather we covet the giver of the gifts who uses them to fulfill His purpose in and through us.

Not all will make the requisite sacrifice to operate in the supernatural but I will promise you that you had better receive and allow Holy Spirit to operate in your life such that you have discernment sufficient to thwart the enemy. Satan does mimic the work of God to deceive, divide and destroy. Don’t become a casualty of our enemy. Live in the anointing and let the anointing of God live in you.

Jesus instructed His disciples to wait for Holy Spirit, the promise of the Father, to come upon them and clothe them with power from on high (Luke 24:49), This is the dunamis power, the miraculous anointing of God. The word is the power of God unto salvation, health, and prosperity. Isiah 55:11 tells us that God sends His word and that it will prosper in what it is sent to do and not return unto Him void. His word is Hs will. All that we need is in Jesus, in whom He manifested His name and His word. Webster says the miracle goes beyond the laws of nature and is held to be the act of a supernatural being. The word is seed planted in our heart that leads us into the will of God. When we speak it, we are expressing our mental and heartfelt agreement allowing the power to create its intended outcome. We believe before we see the manifestation, i.e. faith the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). The power is working through us to bring the miraculous through the anointing. It is a gift of grace and the divine unction of the Holy One.

The arm of the Lord is always expressing miraculous power. His word works because He is in it. The healing is in the Healer. It’s not enough to believe He is able. We must have a revelation of His arm, the miraculous. We are to become partners with the anointing and yield to it by faith. Greater is He that is in us. 1 John 2:20 says we have an unction from the Holy One and know all things. Through worship we acquire the anointing which allows us to pull on the word. Again, the Name of Jesus carries all the power. He has magnified His word above all His name (Psalm 138:2). Jesus became the Word Incarnate. When we realize what we have and know who is in us and that we carry the miraculous power of God, our adversary trembles. The word says that He confirms His word with signs and wonders following (Mark 16:20 & Hebrews 2:4). The word demands confirmation with a miracle.

We must know who we are calling on. God’s promises belong to us. These promises must be revealed to us personally by the arm of the Lord and He will resurrect all that the devil has stolen from us. We perish for lack of knowledge. There is no lack of resources only a lack of His people who truly believe the word and appropriate its provisions. Growth is the principle of the kingdom. When Jesus was tempted by the devil, the Word stood upon the Word. When we accept the word as fact, we reap the reward and promises. Hebrews 3:19 tells us that they could not enter His rest because of unbelief.

We are to be like Jesus. When we allow transformation, walk in faith and appropriate the word, we are fertile ground for the anointing to operate through us and achieve the miraculous. Faith is not intellectually manufactured. It is a condition of the heart an experiential knowledge of God which creation is waiting for us to step into. In the Acts of the Apostles we see evidence of the resurrection by the miracles they performed.

The greatest miraculous power in our life is when we are holding onto the word of God. When we seek and rely on the word, we have supernatural intervention. Whatever we need is in the name. God manifested His word and His name in Jesus. He sent His word to prosper us, to reverse the curse, and to send us out in joy.

Understanding The Supernatural

God is our supernatural source and created us to live in the supernatural realm. Adam was created in His image to live forever in the supernatural. Adam allowed Satan to deceive and steal his birthright but God had a plan, Jesus, the second Adam, to redeem and restore to us the realm we were intended to live in. 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us that in Christ we are a new creation – the old is gone and the new is here. Adam became spiritually dead but in Christ we get the Spirit back and the power to take back everything Satan stole from us, to include everlasting life. Many miss the life we are promised because Satan is still at work trying to destroy us. John 10:10 tells us that the thief comes to kill and destroy but Christ came that we might have a rich and satisfying life.

The keys to living in the supernatural are in God’s Word. John 6:63 says the Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. And the very words I have spoken are spirit and life. 1Corinthians 6:19 tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit within us that we have received from God. We are required to have faith, trusting God completely in all areas of our life. The spiritual realm is the real realm where God moves and desires for us to be. By faith we appropriate the promises and attain to the reality of the supernatural. “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.” (2 Peter 1:3). We appropriate the Word of God by faith and are transformed from glory to glory. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says we with unveiled faces can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord who is Spirit makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image. We even have angels to support us and enforce God’s covenant with us, His redeemed. Hebrews 1:14 says “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who shall be heirs of salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16 tells us that ” Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.”   We are seated in heavenly places with Him because we know His name.  God’s Word sets forth a written agreement, a covenant with man. We are entitled to every benefit, right, and privilege contained in His Word. God swore to this contract by the highest authority – Himself (Genesis 22:16). But because God, through the incarnation, became man, we through the Son, Christ Jesus, have an even better covenant, that covenant being Hebrews 8:6 “But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.” God has called us to live with Him in the supernatural.

The prerequisite to being a vessel God can use in the supernatural is faith. By faith we call those things that aren’t as though they were. The supernatural is only available and possible through faith. We build faith through living in the Word and praying in the spirit. When we ask in faith we can live in the Spirit and as the Word of God is alive and powerful God confirms His Word with signs and wonders following. It is the dunamis power of God, the anointing, which comes upon us and enables us to minister the Word. Through the anointing all things are possible. When we know the Source and completely trust in Him, we become increasingly aware of His presence and are able to tap into the anointing and live in the supernatural. In summary, we walk by faith to enter the supernatural realm and God confirms His Word with signs and wonders following. We must have the anointing to be effective in doing the Father’s business. The anointing empowers us to live in victory and do the great commission.

Supernatural Encounters

To have a supernatural encounter we must live in the supernatural. It is a tall order but is available to all of us through faith coupled with active desire to see, live and operate in the Glory of God, with all its attenuating miraculous intervention in and through us. The perfect example would be the Apostle Paul. Paul taught by the revelation of Christ, as we see in Galatians 1. It was not man’s message but entirely the revelation of Christ from which he ministered and wrote 2/3 of the New Testament and the most powerful writings of all time. Most of us will never surpass the faith and revelation Paul had but it is entirely possible because we are chosen vessels with gifts from above that must be transmitted and received and greater is He that is in us than he that is in this world.

We are a prophetic people of the promise with the spiritual DNA of Christ who lives in us. As such, faith does not see an obstacle to the promise. Faith is the expression of the supernatural partnership with Him who has redeemed us. We are not our own but bought with a heavy price so that we might sit in heavenly places with Him and live in the miraculous power and Glory He acquired for us.

He will place a demand on the divine deposit He placed in us and it will break off the limitations of the demonic and heaven will fill those vacated places in our life.

As our agenda and plans are substandard, God will take care of and fulfill our cause and purpose. Holy Spirit will release all requisite abilities in our calling to establish Kingdom. There is an unction and residency in us and a presence upon our life that is bigger than what we see and greater than what we hear. We need to refuse to accept all limitations as it is all about the cause and purpose of God on our life. The sower just sows the seed at the direction of the divine call. As we awaken on the inside and the seed begins to grow, there is not an option for supernatural, rather there is a mandate from heaven that the supernatural will manifest and move in and through us. When God’s hand is on us, the blessing, light, glory and miraculous of the supernatural is on us and darkness must flee. Faith is the revival of our innate human spirit and the awakening of His purpose in us.

Jesus lived in another world, that of the supernatural. The people thought they had arrested Jesus but He had arrested them. His ways envelop us in the supernatural and we have a different report because we live in another world. The ever-increasing word of God overcomes all.

Faith has a voice. Faith refuses what God has not promised. Faith is assurance of the outcome so we must settle all doubt. Faith is not an option, it must be the only way. We must live in the outcome and pray in the outcome. Faith has an action to it. Hebrews 11:4. Faith is awakened by the message. The enemy wants to rob us of intensification of our faith. By faith we live a supernatural life. Hebrews 11:8 Abraham went out on faith. Faith is a living force within us. It will make us supernaturally sure even though we may not know where we’re going.

Acts 1:8 say that you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon you and there will be performance. Holy Spirit gives power to all who receive Him. We are harnessed to receive the promises of God. The word says we will receive power, be anointed by the Holy Ghost. We are anointed with a miraculous consistency of the ever-present nature of God and born supernaturally to be partakers of His power and Glory. The miraculous is not shocking to God –to us everything God does is a miracle. All that God has for us is constantly present when God has His way. We are literally anointed with a Miracle. We need to learn how to take the limits off what we have been anointed and empowered with by Holy Spirit.

Dr Christian Harfouche  says: “If God Wanted to Run Things He Would Have Kept the Keys to the Kingdom.” His purpose is given us to run with. I can testify to the miraculous supernatural things God has done through my faith and expectation placed on the anointing. I have spoken things into being that would amaze most people and witnessed the miraculous many times. It is all God and to Him be all the Glory. I am only the vessel the Master works through and I believe that I will see even greater things as my faith grows and I move from Glory to Glory. The supernatural is available to you too.
